Espen has a background as a Chief Engineer and holds a Marine Engineer Class 1 Unlimited certification. He has extensive experience in project management, project engineering, and material procurement, with a specialization in energy efficiency interventions and drilling systems, including MODU drilling rig SPS and major overhaul projects.
Since 2007, he has worked in the oil and gas industry on shuttle tankers and newbuild projects, holding key positions such as Technical Section Leader, Maintenance Superintendent, and Onshore Operations. His career includes roles with companies such as Seadrill, KCAD/H&P, and Norled, where he has gained expertise in maritime and mechanical engineering, commissioning, and ensuring compliance with NORSOK standards. Certified as both a Chief Engineer Class 1 and ISO 50001 Lead Auditor, Espen brings strong leadership, a focus on safety, and advanced project management skills to maritime and offshore operations.
